A Letter From Our New Executive Director
Randy's introduction. Welcome!!
It is with a full heart that I introduce myself to you as Cup of Cool Water’s new Executive Director. I am both humbled and excited to serve our community and God’s kingdom in a ministry with such a rich history of loving Spokane’s youth who are homeless. My wife and I have believed in this ministry and financially supported it for a number of years. But seeing God at work in the lives of youth coming through Cup’s doors each day is nothing short of amazing.
Over the years, thousands of youth have found warmth, acceptance, and the love of Jesus within Cup’s walls. If you know our organization’s history, you know the ministry is sustained only by the power of the Holy Spirit, the generosity of donors, and the dedication of staff and volunteers. Even as I write this letter, I am in awe of the immense responsibility I have serving at Cup of Cool Water in this special way.
I am devoted to working with the staff, Board of Directors, the founder Mark Terrell, and our amazing volunteers to advance the Cup of Cool Water mission. God willing, we will increase our capacity to walk alongside youth who are homeless, sharing God’s love with them, and striving to bring fullness of life to one of our area’s most vulnerable populations.
As I continue my on-boarding process here at Cup and settle into Spokane with my family, I would greatly appreciate your prayers. Specifically, you can pray for a smooth transition and for strength, wisdom, and humility as I lead and serve the Cup staff.
I look forward to this exciting new phase in Cup of Cool Water’s journey with you. If you have any questions or just want to say hello, feel free to contact me, or even stop by the office if you have time.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Cup of Cool Water.
